A tender and ridiculous portrait of three of Weaver’s eccentric aunts who lived an unconventional farm life in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in the 1930’s. The Christian Science Monitor called this signature performance ‘a tiny masterpiece’.

Split Britches: The True Story won a Villager Award for Best Ensemble and a Jane Chambers Award for the Best Play in 1985, and is the company’s eponymous performance.
